Sarimah Hellyer – Aligned Thinking

Sarimah is the Founder and Managing Director of Aligned Thinking, a purpose-driven strategic planning and facilitation agency, supporting people doing great work, for good. Sarimah has over 25 years’ experience in strategic planning, marketing and business transformation roles, across financial and professional services, retail, health, disability and small business sectors.

Her passion is working with purpose-driven organisations, facilitating strategic thinking and strategic planning workshops, and designing strategies for growth. She also enjoys group and community facilitation, and working with diverse stakeholders to gain consensus where conflicting views exist.

Today, Sarimah works with Boards and executive management teams in the care economy, local government, social justice, community groups and regional and rural businesses, helping them to rethink their vision and purpose statements, to guide strategic decision making.

She holds an MBA from Royal Melbourne Institution of Technology (RMIT), a Bachelor of Communication and Marketing and is a 2023 graduate of the Alpine Valleys Community Leadership program.
